Finmap + Wise: Automatic Cash Flow Tracking

Wise is a multi-currency account and international money transfer service that businesses use to hold, send, and receive money across currencies.
A business using Wise typically does so precisely because it deals in more than one currency — paying overseas suppliers, holding balances for different markets, or receiving payments from international clients. That strength is also what makes Wise activity easy to lose track of: multi-currency balances and transfers sit apart from a company's home-currency bank account, and turning them into one coherent cash flow picture usually means converting and combining figures by hand. Connecting Wise to Finmap addresses that directly by pulling Wise transactions into the same cash flow view as the rest of a business's accounts.
Finmap works as a data aggregator: it does not hold or move client funds. A business's Wise balances stay in its own Wise account exactly as before — Finmap's part is to pull in the transaction data automatically, in the background, and use it to power its cash flow forecasting and reporting. Finmap describes this generally, for the accounts it connects to, as data that is "synced automatically," under a section heading that reads "All your accounts in one place" rather than leaving each account, currency, or provider to be checked on its own.
That is the same mechanic a Wise connection follows: link the account once, and Wise transactions start flowing into Finmap's dashboards alongside a business's other banking and payment data, without Finmap taking custody of the funds or requiring manual re-entry of transfers and balances.
For a business moving money across currencies through Wise, that means cash flow forecasts in Finmap reflect that activity automatically, instead of needing someone to reconcile Wise statements against everything else by hand each month.
